Neurotoxins
The amount of Botox/Dysport needed will depend on how many treatment areas you’d like to cover, as well as the size and strength of the muscle. The number of units you need will be determined by your injector during the consult.
Botox/Dysport will begin showing results within 5-7 days of your procedure and reach its full effect by week two. These effects can last between 3-4 months.
The results will be seen after the first treatment! Botox and Dysport take two to four days before the muscle weakening effect takes place. The maximum effect occurs at about 10 to 14 days.
Some individuals report a mild headache the day of or the follow day after receiving a treatment. Bruising may also be possible at the injection sites.
